How It All Started

The whole idea was born in the summer of 2013 when a few enthusiasts decided to shoot a fan series. Based on previous experience with a demanding post-production, it was decided to shoot the entire series in a real environment. So, they started to put together the script, look for actors, draft the form of the stage set and calculate the expenses. At the end of 2014 suitable premises were found and rented and so the entire project literally got on firm ground. During 2015 the key parts of the set were constructed involving dozens of fans/workers. They drew and measured, they sawed, sanded, drilled and glued. They also painted and traced, connected and bent all kinds of materials. Then everything was cleaned, swept, vacuumed, dehaired and polished. And so the bridge of the Starship U.S.S. Masaryk and Captain's Ready Room for the first episode were born.
